Domestic tourism is not very popular in Kenya

This is mostly due to the wrong information. Whereby locals tend to assume that the gate fees are too expensive. They also an assumption that tourism belongs to the white guys. But all these are wrong information is assumed to be true.

There has been an increase in domestic tourism rates. And most people are embracing the activity. Locals are visiting parks, reserves, orphanages, and sanctuaries. They are also taking part in conservation activities. Including planting of trees, providing support towards wildlife, among others.

For those who have no personal vehicles, worry not. Kenya Wildlife Service provides transport services as well as both security and tour guides. Transport rates are equally affordable as the park fees. Let’s embrace domestic tourism for a better understanding of our wildlife. We will be able to appreciate them. And in return, fight harder for their conservation.
Once in a while, let’s pay a visit to these amazing conservation areas. We will be able to enjoy and most importantly, be able to support conservation. These parks are evenly distributed throughout the country. Pick one near you and enjoy wildlife. One step at a time. Next, you will be motivated to go to all of them. Seeing wildlife is more satisfactory than watching them on the TV.
Grab your boots, let’s tembea Kenya.
