Wildlife destinations in Africa you need to check out. It’s holiday season and travelling is one of the things that makes it more merrier.

It’s that time of the year where families come together. Or you get an opportunity to have some quality me time if you prefer your own company. All in all, it’s time to just relax and have some good time.
Beaches and big hotels maybe most preferred by many. Enjoying some vitamin D and sand bathing. What if you still get that vitamin D and get to make awesome memories. This is because Africa is hot, literally hot. Vitamin D from the sun is everywhere every day at least twelve hours.
Africa is still developing, so most of it is still in its raw state. Developments are yet to cover all places. So you will be able to get an insight of how things ran many years ago in its remote places. Simply, Africa is full of surprises and very welcoming to everyone in the world.

That said, what are some of these places can you be able to enjoy all these.

Kenya

It hosts the greatest wildlife estate called Maasai Mara National Reserve. Also known as one of the best wildlife destination in the world. The Maasai Mara Reserve is also where the greatest wildebeest migration takes place.
It’s a home to a variety and good number of national parks and reserves. Not forgetting the historical sites, cultural centres, sanctuaries, nature parks, mountains, among others.

Tanzania

Mount Kilimanjaro
It’s the other half of the greatest wildebeest migration. A home to some of largest herds of wildlife mammals.
For beach lovers, Zanzibar offers you exactly that. And a lot of history to learn from.

Uganda

Murchison Falls National Park
Home to the longest river, river Nile.
It also has a variety of wildlife to enjoy.

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe
Do you love waterfalls? Then Uganda should definitely be your next destination. It is graced with the magnificent Victoria Falls. Plus awesome rivers that allows you to enjoy canoeing.
It’s a home to a lot of water sources.

It’s a desert full of wildlife. Despite it’s harsh environmental status, it’s able to handle so much awesomeness.

This is one of the finest wildlife destinations.
Compared to the other African countries , it’s most developed and takes conservation issues more serious.
It has the largest game park that is made up of several parks put together. The Kruger National Park.

Madagascar

Madagascar
Small in size and a proud owner of existing rain-forests in Africa.
Would you like to enjoy the environmental feeling at the equators. Madagascar is your go to place. And it’s wildlife is almost unique to its location.

Rwanda

This the haven for the privates. You get an opportunity to track the chimpanzees and gorillas as part of your safari. Home to the endangered mountain gorilla.
Who doesn’t want to spend time with wildlife that has close relations to humans. In fact in history they taught us that we evolved from them.
And yes, it’s the cleanest and pollution of the environment is taken seriously.
It also allows you opportunity to various volcanoes.

Common to all of them

The big five and other wildlife species are found in all these countries.
Mountains and hills are present, so hiking and mountaineering is an opportunity never to be missed.
Indian Ocean touches few of them allowing you some marine tourism and beach.
They are developing countries so they are able to accommodate both the budget and extravagant tourists.

Generally Africa as a whole is one of the best wildlife destination in the world. And any country is worthy a safari. All you have to do is research a place before you set your foot there. Know how they do things and understand importance of respecting cultures.
Don’t be gloomy and confine yourselves to the couches watching TV. Grab your bag and hit the road.
